I am a Year 4 student at Papakura Central School in Auckland, NZ. I am in Room 12 and my teacher is Miss Izelle. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first draft. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

Hey Jayde,
ReplyDeleteI’m Daniel, one of the blog commenters for the Kootuitui schools in Papakura. I’m really excited to see your posts this week and over the summer and look forward to commenting on your awesome posts.
Your list of supplies to take on your long trip is great and filled with lots of useful and important items. Water is great to see as you wont be able to get any fresh water at sea. A friend and a game is probably the best suggestion I've seen so far and made me smile.
Your slideshow background is also really pretty and bright which is great to get people interested in your blog posts.
I'm so glad to see that you've made a good start and I hope you carry on and find lots of the activities really interesting. Have a great holiday with family and stay safe over the break. I’ll be back commenting on blogs after January 6th.
Daniel :)
Hey Jayde and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI hope your holidays are going well and you’re having lots of fun. I see you haven't posted on your blog in a while. There’s still plenty of time left to do what you can and get more points and get those cool prizes that are up for grabs.
Remember that you can go back or skip ahead to do the tasks in any order you like so you can always start with the most interesting ones first.

Hope to see you in the comments soon.

Hello Jayde,
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed Christmas and had a very Happy New Year! My name is Vitaraag and I am participating in the Summer Learning Journey this year. I really like how you added a colourful back round. I can tell this blog post took a lot of time and effort. I see you haven't been active for a while. You still have time to do some more activities. Maybe you will revive a prize. Continue blogging!
Vitaraag :)
Hi Jayde
ReplyDeleteThat is a good list of things to bring, I understand why you would bring those. You even provided us with a reason for some of the items. I haven't seen anyone write 'A friend' on any of their lists before, that's a really good option! A friend can help keep you entertained, so it's good to see that.
A bag is also good to help store everything you need. You can even ask your friend to take a bag as well so that yours won't be too heavy. Nice to see things like food and water. I'm assuming you'll have a few healthy options at least? But a stuffed animal can be really nice to have sitting beside you and you can hold onto it while you sleep.
Have a great day,
Tara
